What is a FAVICON?
Favicon is a small image which you can see left to the url of any website, depecting their logo in the form of an image..To make it more clear just look at the image below,
Steps to create and upload FAVICON !
Guys not all of you including me know what a Favicon is until i started Blogging, Well i am now going to share with you the simple and the most easy way to Create, as well as how to upload a Favicon of your wish to your Blog, which i learnt after trying so many different difficult ways of uploading it, But here's the most simplest and easy method for you dear Bloggers!!..Simply follow the steps Below..1.Click the link below to create a favicon.
2.Now all you need to do is to just choose any one theme from the tag cloud in the left bottom corner and select any one of your choice and click on it.
3.You'l be taken to a page with list of already created favicon , select one and click on that Favicon of your choice.
4.Below the Favicon, you
have how to add the favicon to your page?, you've got the html code snippet already available , just copy the part of the code which is shown below, in short copy the second code and not the first one, as there are two codes available.
5.Click ctrl+f in your Edit pages tab under Design in your Blogger Dashboard and type </head>, this is the short cut method to find the html code </head>.
6. Now just paste the code for favicon just above your </head>.
7.Your done, Click Save Template and view your blog to check out your FAVICON.
(Note: You can also create your own Favicon and upload it using the widely available Favicon generators online, but i recommend Favicon.cc and the link is the same as above)
